Department of Energy¶

- In 2018, Colin received an Early Career Research Award from the US DOE.
- The US DOE has funded many of our research projects, including the 4D Camera Distillery.

Toyota Research Institute¶
- TRI generously sponsored the development of the py4DSTEM open-source analysis toolkit for 4DSTEM, developed by our group.

- In 2023, py4DSTEM was awarded an R&D100 award!
Microscopy Society of America¶

- In 2022, Colin was awarded the Burton Medal in physical sciences, for distinguished contributions to the field of microscopy and microanalysis by a scientist who is less than 40 years of age.
- The MSA is the sponor of Elemental Microscopy.
- The MSA has also awarded our group members travel grants to attend the Microscopy and Microanalysis annual meeting and other conferences.
